The College of Ophthalmology and Allied Vision Sciences (COAVS), Lahore, is hiring an Optometrist for an in-person, Lahore-based role reporting to the Programme Manager. This is a field-facing position with district travel and periodic rotations.

Requirements and eligibility:
- B.Sc. in Optometry from an HEC-recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a reputable clinic, healthcare facility, or hospital.
- Strong clinical skills: refraction, ophthalmoscopy, retinoscopy, slit-lamp examination, 90D lens examination, and cycloplegic refraction.
- Able to handle ophthalmic equipment and independently manage a clinic/OPD, including non-refractive eye conditions.
- Good report-writing and case-study skills; fluent spoken English; basic computer skills.
- Able to counsel patients, manage concerns, and refer appropriately.
- Willing to travel independently to other districts; flexible for six-monthly rotations and extended working hours when required.
- Selection is merit-based and includes a skills test and an interview. Local residents are preferred; persons with disabilities are given preference.
